Quality Assurance
Quality assurance and food safety serve as the foundation of the operations at the M&R Company.
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)The established by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S Department Agriculture to help minimize microbial food safety hazards for fresh fruits and vegetables.
The key components of the GAP guidelines are irrigation, water quality, proper handling of chemicals, sanitation, employee health and hygiene, transportation of products, and traceability. We continuously train or employees and supervisors to ensure the understanding of the guidelines.
Good Manufacturing PracticesThe guidelines established for the processing and packaging of food products. The components of this program are very similar to the GAP program but there are additional protocol guidelines that apply to the handling and the packaging of the fruit. While this is not required, we are committed to going above and beyond for the assurance of our customers, families around the world.
HACCPIt is a systematic approach to assessing possible risks associated with a product and determining the controls necessary to eliminate the risks of causing illness or injury.
At the M&R Company, we are committed to supplying safe, quality assured, fresh and wholesome fruits that not only comply with the industry and our customer’s requirement but exceed the requirements.
